Jennifer "Jen" Brilmyer
Dr. Brilmyer completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Adapted Physical Activity from Slippery Rock University in 2009. She graduated from Chatham University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2011. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Heath Science (DHSc) from Drexel University in 2020. Dr. Brilmyer has worked at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh since 2012 with a primary focus in outpatient therapy. She also has pediatric experiences in early intervention, inpatient, and school-based settings. Dr. Brilmyer has been an adjunct professor at Chatham University since 2016. She has presented at various state and national conferences on topics related to chronic pain in pediatrics, power training, intensive therapy models in pediatrics and knowledge translation/teaching innovations.
