Dr. Leah McNabb (formerly Leah Buck) is a dedicated educator and researcher specializing in Complex Analysis. She earned her PhD with a focus on quadrature domains in the plane, building on the work of her advisor. Together, they developed a novel encryption/decryption method for locations, using properties of quadrature domains. Dr. McNabb's dissertation also explored applications of quadrature domains in various settings. Dr. McNabb is passionate about teaching mathematics at the collegiate level. Her enthusiasm for sharing mathematical concepts is evident both in the classroom and during research discussions. She strives to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can appreciate the beauty and applications of mathematics. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. McNabb enjoys a variety of activities outside of work. She is an avid music enthusiast. She also loves watching and playing sports, with a particular fondness for soccer. Her other interests include reading, watching movies and television, spending time with family, and enjoying the outdoors.
