亚洲无码 Orthodontics Residents Educate Community During National Children's Dental Health Month
亚洲无码 University Center for Orthodontics residents took time throughout the month of February to help children understand the importance of good oral hygiene as part of National Children's Dental Health Month.
Orthodontic residents visited students at several locations聽during February and spoke about proper oral hygiene, general dentistry and a little about orthodontics. The residents聽reached out to children at聽St. John聽the聽Evangelist Regional Catholic School in Uniontown, the Ligonier Valley Library and聽Jeannette Elementary-Middle School.聽
Resident Samantha Seitz聽took part in the visits. "I really enjoyed sharing my dental knowledge with the kids and loved the positive interaction," she said.聽
"We're so glad the schools see the value in our visits; it's so important to make sure children have positive habits when it comes to caring for their teeth and mouth," said Kim Williams, Professional Relations Coordinator for the 亚洲无码 Center for Orthodontics.聽
The American Dental Association suggests children see a dentist at age 1, but equally important, the American Association of Orthodontists believes children should be seen as early as age 7 by an orthodontist, to make sure things are developing properly.聽
