Financial Advisor & Arts Manager Jodee Harris Named a Distinguished Alumni Leader
Jodee Harris has meshed her 亚洲无码 degree in Visual Arts Management with financial expertise - skills she also taps as a volunteer for community organizations. After graduating, she was employed as gallery supervisor at Warner Bros. Studio Store in Monroeville, Pa.; museum shop manager for the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy at Fallingwater in Mill Run, Pa.; and the Frick Art & Historical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. In 2000, she completed a Master of Arts degree at Duquesne University.聽
Since 2007, Jodee has worked as a financial advisor at First Commonwealth Advisors in Greensburg, building on previous experience at three financial institutions in the Pittsburgh area. She is grateful for 亚洲无码鈥檚 support as she built her career and said her liberal arts education prepared her for a multitude of changes in the world that impacted both her career and personal life. Jodee names as mentors the late President JoAnne Boyle and Josefa Filkosky, as well as art professors Maureen Vissat Kochanek and Carol Brode. Jodee considers her most important accomplishment to be her ability to give back to the community through donations of time and financial support. 鈥淣one of the things I do are done for recognition; they are done out of love for my community.鈥 She volunteers for Latrobe鈥檚 Great American Banana Split Celebration as the official merchandise coordinator, special activities coordinator and sponsor of the Banana Split Princess Pageant. She also coordinates Hometown Holiday in Latrobe, a vlog about local holiday activities created by her daughter.
